Loki and Sif are two extremely dynamic characters. Neither one of them are “this” or “that” but different from the other present characters. Loki is presented as the tragic hero; the one who has lived a lie, only to discover the truth after the dissapointment of coming in second. All that Loki truly wanted was a sense of care and love; traits that were absent coming from his true roots.
Now Sif, we see different qualities. She is strong and has a fierce love for her friends and her country. Sif always saw past Loki’s caring facade, but ironically would never believe him when he is telling the truth. This creates the basic conflict, the absent trust between the two.
I believe that the journey of Loki and Sif finding trust and comfort in one another would be a beautiful representation of the tragic hero finally putting himself on the correct path.
Sif craves power and strength to prove herself (something that Loki has) and Loki craves love and security (something that Sif has).
2.) I follow this blog because I appreciate that others see these characters the way I see them! It’s nice to meet people through here who share the same preferences! (And plus the graphics are just so pretty!)
3.) It would be great to maybe see more fanfiction of Loki x Sif! I’ve only come across a few, so budding writers should share their ideas here!
